Two Tickets to Paradise (Valley)

If someone would've told me five years ago that I would be running a bakery with my fiancé I'd probably have gazed at you with a strange look in my eyes. When Taylor and I moved back to Montana after a three week trip down the Grand Canyon, we were only intending to pass through Paradise Valley. Not surprisingly however, we were captivated by the solitude of the Absaroka Mountains, the serenity of the Yellowstone River, and of course, the magic of the truly big sky.

Three years later, with a wedding in the works and a thriving bakery / bbq restaurant, there is no doubt that Paradise Valley is our home. When we decided to purchase the bakery in 2012, we had no idea just how much our lives would change. Two former river guides, we were both used to a sort of "paid retirement," getting paid to help people enjoy their vacations. Owning a bakery in the middle of one of the most magical valleys in the world is somewhat like that, with less sunshine and more delicious aromas.  We have spent the last two years putting all of our energy into making the bakery a special place that I'm sure anyone would be happy to spend a morning or two, or in our case, most days.

Our goal with this blog is to keep y'all informed on the happenings at the bakery as well as to share a little bit more about ourselves. I hope you enjoy!!
